Week 2: Nature & Discovery — Stewardship in Action

June 15-19

A calming, thoughtful week rooted in care and responsibility.

Children move from observing nature to actively caring for it. This week focuses on responsibility, gratitude, and mindful interaction with the environment around us. As campers explore the natural world, they are reminded that caring for the Earth is part of the trust Allah has given us, and that small, thoughtful actions can be acts of care and gratitude.

Children will:

Explore plants, insects, and natural elements
Learn how to care for living things and shared spaces
Practice observation and reflection
Understand simple cause-and-effect relationships in nature
Connect stewardship to everyday actions and values

Throughout the week, children learn that showing kindness to animals, plants, and shared spaces reflects a heart that is aware and grateful, helping them see environmental care as part of living with faith and responsibility.
